How to whiten your skin

Skin whitening is a procedure in which the darker skin is made to look lighter. Though there are several techniques in whitening the skin, it is essentially done through the process of exfoliation i.e. getting rid of dead skin at the outermost layer of the skin and unveiling a new layer.

The agents or chemicals that are used in skin whitening normally works in two ways. In one way these so called skin whiteners absorb the UV rays that are responsible for darkening your skin. Alternative some other skin whiteners work to reduce the melanin pigments that darken your skin in high concentration.

There are so many skin whiteners available at present in the market. All those skin whitening products contain one or more ingredients such as kojic acid, ascorbic acid, hydroquinone, etc, which inhibit tyrosinase that helps in producing melanin.
